“It’s not that yogis don’t have emotions. We just understand them very well.”
Traditionally, Yoga students were required to demonstrate ethical living, which included a process of understanding, accepting and transmuting their emotional responses to result in a positive behavior. This series will explore Yoga Psychology and the healthy role of the following emotional states: laziness/discipline; fear/courage; anger/kindness; sadness/joy; worry/faith; despair/hope; and selfishness/selflessness. We will then practice our understanding in our Yoga poses, relaxation and meditation.
